Edit: thanks all, I have picked up a new grinder. early xmas present to myself I guess! coffee nerds, my grinder has packed it in. what should I get? I need a workhorse daily type one that does some sort of dosing (either timed or whatever). I had a Eureka mignon specialita before, it was ... okay. The LCD died about a year in to ownership and then the motor packed it in today :(

@CatherineFlick Not a coffee nerd, just an addict that needs his caffeine frequently. My WMF Stelio has never let me down (4 years and counting).
