@0xabad1dea As much as my dogs have been SO GOOD about various things, like nail trimming, brushing, ear cleaning, wearing shoes, and everything else that requires me to handle them, baths were always a challenge.

I guess they gotta draw a line somewhere!

I bet @GirlWithTheDogs would love to groom Odin. Too bad yall are so far apart.

@0xabad1dea That's one hot dog... He does appreciate the hosing down... And seems to calm his panting (I doubt it cools him that much that quickly, but it might signal, "I'm being cooled").

@Starry1086 @0xabad1dea "choo choo" is right, I had forgotten just how much big dogs PANT.... Also, the thought went through my head, "aren't you gonna wait for that to warm up", followed immediately by, "no, NEWFIE, they're BRED to go plunging into freezing cold water after some doof that just fell out his fishing dory... he's probably LIKING this." Odin: .oO( Make it COLDER, mama! )

@stonebear2 @Starry1086 yes for the record I had turned the water temperature dial *down* on purpose because he'd just been out in the sun and I figured he'd prefer it be cold water than hot.
