I'm interested the technical side of the hobby. My focus at the moment is designing an automatic antenna tuner (why I made this account). I'd like to gradually build a full station from scratch.

In the past, I've done high-altitude ballooning.

My background is in software (with dusty degrees in Linguistics and Math), but I also do hardware design.
