the main thing I took away from it was that it's probably slower for a lot of people but also maybe that's ok? like, if you enjoy the vibes of going oldschool hackerman with the complicated textual editor thingy, then that's cool.
(I meanwhile find that the small delays and extra cognitive load are like nails on a chalkboard lol)
@gsuberland it could be there just new to it and that they'll get much much faster over time, so it's a trade off at being slow now for being fast in future?

a lot of people who've been doing something for decades and who you figure ought to know better often just... don't. it never occurred to them that something can be improved. i don't even mean computer shit. this happens with machinists too
