If you think my New Year's Resolution was to stop taking yet another photo of the same harbour yet again, then you have another toot coming.

The waterfront promenade, mid-city, Aarhus harbour, this morning 2nd January, shortly before sunrise. You can't see it, but we are standing on the community basketball and football pitch. It is surrounded by netting and wooden benches. We are looking through a gap between them, low down. The bench is lightly covered in white snow that borders the bottom of the scene. The netting is dark with big loops, bordering the upper half of the scene. The sky is purple-blue with a vivid orange streak on the horizon. Framed in the gap in the middle, on the opposite piers, the silhouettes of buildings including a 75 m angular crane shaped like a monstrous giraffe; huge lifting platforms shaped like giants' chairs; and a geodome.
