One New Zealand airport is capping people’s cuddle time in order to keep folks moving. One sign at Dunedin Airport says: “It’s hard to say goodbye so make it quick. 3 minutes max,” while another encourages those seeking fonder farewells to use the car park, where they can linger for up to 15 minutes. Dan De Bono, the airport’s CEO, says the signs are meant to be lighthearted. “There’s no space left for others,” he said. “It’s about enabling others to have hugs.” What’s your approach to fond farewells when you’re traveling?
