@mjg59 Seems like CEC and ARC run on different pins, so maybe you could just cut the ARC pins in the hdmi cable?
@DropTableFoxes Is ARC sink detection implemented on pin 14 as well, or is the feature advertised elsewhere?
@mjg59 I don't know if that's the case. I'd be willing to bet it's just detected by seeing if it's there otherwise strange things would happen with cables that omit it. Or will it be one of those cursed things where some devices do it one way, some do it another...
I guess it'd only take sacrificing a $2 cable to find out :)
