Thanks to a tip from @dis I can now get alerts from #HomeAssistant when a smart-plug *stops* providing electricity.

@kkarhan to a degree, yes. The blueprint has an internal state machine. You can set it to react when it reaches various states.
My plug exposes Amps, Volts, and Watts which update every free seconds.
