@jarkman yep, but a lovely time to be able for everyone to see in real time what's happening!
@jarkman serious astrophotographers dismiss H-alpha imaging during a total eclipse, since they really want to see the corona during totality. I am absolutely not a serious one, and I'd rather enjoy "experiencing" totality rather than desperately trying to get a photograph. This lets us "talk" about the sun and it's interesting features in the lead up to totality, and everyone can safely get a view. Hopefully makes for an interesting time-lapse, too!
