@thomasfuchs why portable? I just have 3 separate Mastodon accounts on 3 separate servers for 3 purposes/communities. Works fine, easy to switch between them.
@jaanus Because we have computers that could manage that for us. Not everyone is like you.
@thomasfuchs I agree that having 3 separate accounts is not a solution for many. I’m not convinced that having one single federated account is the answer. For example, I do want to have a different profile and persona in all the different places, and keep the content somewhat isolated between them.
