@Edent I don't know what roadroid's full pitch is but they seem to be aimed at monitoring road quality to plan maintenance with data gathered via smartphone.
But then I think Mapillary were trying to do ML on imagery sets to identify issues more cheaply for councils and that didn't really work out.
@InsertUser @Edent I mean, it's been done for a long while. https://www.gaist.co.uk/ do regular surveys for some LAs and use ML to grade road surface and spot issues etc. Not even AI!
