@james I once ended up Ā£1500 out of pocket in travel expenses at work because I couldn't get myself to do the forms within the same financial year >_<

@james it was a struggle, especially because the expenses system was horrible to use. one of those janky webapps that drove another system under the hood, with all the form state on the server so every click and change required a request, and if you didn't wait for it to complete (e.g. click a field and immediately type a number) it wouldn't register what you entered. I don't think I ever completed an expenses report within a month of incurring costs.
