Another day with negative electricity prices!
I really need to program my graph to account for that. In the meantime, I'm going to mine some Bitcoin!
(Well, I'm going to do some tumble drying - which is a lot more useful.)
Fixed a few things in my #eink energy monitor.
Now actually understands BST (🤭), also deals with negative pricing properly.
I also added a gradient (graydient?) To make it look slightly nicer.
@Edent I do like the e-ink but Mrs H wanted something more accessible from her phone, so I built a simple HTML status page to show the pricing and charge strategy my bot is planning. Ignore any battery status more than 12 hours out, I’m experimenting with the time window it uses for forecasting. https://jamesholden.net/power.html
@Edent it last charged at 11 pm when it briefly dipped to about 2.5p, that seems to have got it through the night when it was more expensive. It’s expecting some solar this morning hence the charge level increasing on its own. It calls out to a weather API to modulate the solar predictions.
