@jarkman I've just tested it on 7V under no real load (using a generic buck converter that says it can do 2A) and I can report that it's fairly quiet. I can hear the geartrain whirring but it is a clean whir, not a grindy whine. Even under these not ideal power supply conditions I hurt my finger trying to stop it moving. Compared to a generic metal gear micro servo it's noticeably quieter and subjectively also a nicer noise
