Edit: thanks all, I have picked up a new grinder. early xmas present to myself I guess! coffee nerds, my grinder has packed it in. what should I get? I need a workhorse daily type one that does some sort of dosing (either timed or whatever). I had a Eureka mignon specialita before, it was ... okay. The LCD died about a year in to ownership and then the motor packed it in today :(
@CatherineFlick Coffee geek here :), but I'm only into manual coffee gears (well, except for the precision scale and kettle). Are you only looking for an electrical grinder? If not, I can recommend very good options for manual grinders!
@p4bl0 I have a couple of manual ones but yes, need to stave off the RSI so I would like an electric one! But thank you!!
@aeris @CatherineFlick That was true a few years ago, yes! Nowadays, I'd recommend a KINGrinder or 1zpresso model, depending on the intended usage (mainly espresso, mainly pour over, or maybe both of those).
