Edit: thanks all, I have picked up a new grinder. early xmas present to myself I guess! coffee nerds, my grinder has packed it in. what should I get? I need a workhorse daily type one that does some sort of dosing (either timed or whatever). I had a Eureka mignon specialita before, it was ... okay. The LCD died about a year in to ownership and then the motor packed it in today :(

@CatherineFlick personally incredibly happy with my commandante c40 for many years now. I’m not changing it until it dies.

I’m told the tigershark blades on the commandante x25 trailmaster are incredible, people report it beating many high-end expensive electric grinders on blind testing but I have not personally tasted it yet

For home usage I’m really sold on manual grinders and doing it by weight
