A Starry Bob (Iambrix stellifer) spotted at Windsor Nature Park, Singapore on 1 Jan 2025. It is less common than its cousin, the Chesnut Bob (Iambrix salsala). The pattern of white dots on its wings is the usual way to distinguish between the two.

@gsuberland It's not a moth; or rather, it is a skipper butterfly. It is also tiny. Its wings are about 2 cm across, so its eyes are relatively big compared to its body.
