Got my new blues tune up. Guitars are Telecaster (L) and Danelectro 59M through the EHX B9 organ pedal (R). Bass is Fender p-bass. Harp is Hohner Special 20 B flat. I’m capo’d at the first fret on guitars, and through Keeley compressor. Harp and Tele are both through MXR Timmy. Drums are MT Power Drum kit sampler. I also tracked a Latin percussion shaker. Mics are Apex 550 for vocals and an Apex 327 for harp. Had to remix and re-upload the new song. Had a challenging time with the vocal volume levels before the song tempo change. They were way too high. So went in and manually adjusted the individual track volume automation levels. Quite tedious, as it had lots of peaks and valleys. Raised the keys volume too. Also added a second bass line run-down just before ending verse. And changed the artwork. Pretty satisfied with the results now. Lots of learning. Two hard panned rhythm guitar tracks are my Squier Bigsby Tele through Keeley Angry Orange pedal straight into Scarlett interface. Short guitar solo is the Danelectro 59M through the Yamaha THR5 straight to interface. Bass is my old MIM Fender p-bass straight into interface. Background saw synth is Korg Minilogue XD. I programmed the MT Power Drum Kit plugin. Do I know anyone who plays #bass? I’m looking for amp buying advice. I’ve played bass for like 15 years - first with a cheap unbranded combo, then with my studio monitors.
