Do I have someone in my circles who has contacts to Brandt Kettwick Defense in #minneapolis in #minnesota?
They have a (IMHO very serious) data #leak and we are trying to get into contact with them for quite some time now. Among other things we have sent them very detailed information about the leak via email and their contact form. When called, they hang up (public number may be a call center that has no idea what we talk about).
They're either thinking we're trying to phish them or we get stuck in their spam filters. At least we don't hear back from them and the leak is still open. So I am looking for someone whom they'll listen to.
So if anyone has a chance to get hold of them, we would be grateful.
We are also trying to get the PDs in Hopkins and Anoka as well as the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension involved. The data leaked affects them indirectly.

The #CampHouseFire (#Minnesota) still burns to the north of our place, but the damage is done!
1) The cabin I used to own... Gone!
2) Our sauna... Gone!
3) My old partner was about to start a refurb on the cabin.
He recently had a shipping container dropped there and had moved a significant amount of stuff out of the cabin.
The container and its contents were unharmed!
4) The real miracle is his homestead was spared.
No details available, but I think the fire got pinched between the clearing around the buildings and the stream/bog/beaver pond behind it (left side of this picture). Based on the tracks I also think the fire crews helped keep the flames off the 100 yr old barn seen here.
Word is he has no grid power, but his solar system is at least partially functional so he can pump water, keep his fridge cold, and keep his business going while he and his wife recover.

I'm about 95% recovered from my bout of COVID, but I still haven't been doing a lot of outside running lately.

November 25, 2024. The fermented leek paste is lovely and bitter today. It will ferment on the countertop until it tastes right. We enjoyed leeks for paste, sauerkraut, and roasting over the last week. We will be smart in 2025. The leek harvest will be spread out over September, October, and November.
