Hello #HomeAssistant friends!
In which order should I apply these updates?
@Edent I’ve always updated core first then os.
The thinking being that since you have to reboot for the os you may as well do that last.
@Edent I've never seen it matter but this is why you should make sure to read the release notes. If it ever DOES matter they will almost certainly have something in the notes about it.
@Edent I tend to do Home Assistant first, and then the OS, but for no particular reason other than that’s the order they’re presented in. Generally one isn’t dependent on the other, and if a core feature does depend on the OS update it’ll be backwards compatible.
@Edent it doesn't matter. I'd go with OS first. Supervisor is crucial and has to go first, but these are independent.
@Edent AFAIK, it doesn’t matter. Out of principle, I do the foundation (the OS) then the application (core) on the basis that the application may take advantage of new features in the OS. #HomeAssistant
@Edent just done this myself, I don’t think it matters but I did the OS first. Just wish it was on a faster Pi but none about at the moment

Thanks! That's the way I did it.
BTW, what's the deal with your username?
