The thing I most think when watching most tech talks is, so many of the soloed groups are trying to fix the same first initial problem, I.e get fw off device, then get into fs, maybe some glitching here and there. THEN the good stuff.
I don’t mind the info, but finding myself skipping a lot of the initial build up in the talks…
Don’t get me wrong; these people have way more skills than I do…
@an0key I feel you there. Suspect it’s one of those things that’s mind blowing when you first hear about it and then after you’re just like “oh, they pulled the firmware” unless there’s some wild exploits to bypass secure boot or something.
@jon I guess its a massive complement to the content, for a lay person (me) to go, oh yeah, totally get that actually quite complicated thing...
