i'm not actually sure if they finish today, but if they continue to jackhammer and drill at 1am for multiple days i'm going to lose it
@whitequark I genuinely thought this was illegal. I wonder if they're skirting it by technically not being in a residential zone or something. either way really shit.
@gsuberland @whitequark my experience is typically road work in downtown commercial areas or major highways is scheduled for the middle of the night when there's less traffic, and in residential areas during the day so as to not wake people up.
Maybe it's some kind of emergency repair they can't delay?

@whitequark @azonenberg @gsuberland They sometimes do A roads or above at night to reduce disruption; they did the asphalting of our road in the early hours.
