today is also the day of being tortured by roadworks directly outside of my window 24/7 (this is not an exaggeration, there is a line of sight to the works site and they are doing it actually around the clock)
i'm not actually sure if they finish today, but if they continue to jackhammer and drill at 1am for multiple days i'm going to lose it
@whitequark in lower united states it would be suicidal to do roadworks in the summer season, which is why i dealt with them all winter and spring
it appears the people there have not yet learned this valuable lesson, which might explain why they're doing it at 1am
@estelle they're doing this in the summer because only temporary repairs are done during winter
