A fat friend discovered running last year, they look great and are much healthier but they've become such a running bore that I find myself hoping they'll get injured to get my old friend back.

@fesshole ever thought of trying it? The energy of the newly converted doesn't last and you can be there when their interest wains a bit. But you might find that you have a new way to connect with each other, too.
