Wife has bought me gig tickets for the same dodgy indie band that I hate for the second birthday in a row. Don't know how to tell her, she'd be mortified. Feel like I'm in too deep now and just going to have to spend the rest of my life pretending to like this really shitty band.

@fesshole it’s fine to change your mind, you don’t need to say you never liked them. Or better yet, say you heard the singer is a trump fan or something similar that would ruin the band for you.

tactfully tell her you really don't like the band
you don't resent her for buying the tickets, you just didn't know how to break the subject I'm sorry noone ever thought you how to communicate responsibly, but there is still hope for you.
