which game franchise has the most sequels?
(counting only "main series" games, by whatever metric you deem reasonable. this isn't an academic paper, take liberties as you see fit)
I was thinking FF because they (mostly) number them sequentially and that made it more prominent in my head, but then there's stuff like Mario that's been around forever.
