@itsOasus I saw some organisation saying if the user was suspected of being under 18, they could verify their age for a small fee by providing a verification token (a bottle of gin) from a trusted third party with established age verification protocols (the off-licence)
A system where we could go to places like liquor stores or post offices and get them to co-sign facts based on an ID -- such as age -- to an online user account, might not be a bad idea.
With an intermediary service, phones and QR codes and with appropriate hashing of signing requests and ID details, it should be possible to make a system that's easy to use, and where the cosigners don't know the website and the website learns only the cosigned fact.
