Capitalists, when I say that people still deserve food, shelter, education, and healthcare even if they are "lazy" or can't work:

My most left wing opinion is that we should implement UBI as fast as possible, and that I consider someone being able to sit in a chair and watch Simpsons reruns for the rest of their life a positive if it means someone else can choose to make art instead of cleaning toilets.
If we had implemented a sovereign wealth fund using North Sea Oil revenues we could be in a position to implement UBI today.
Not that the current labour government would call it that but that's what it would be.

UBI means we can overhaul and rearrange the economy without imperiling people. Which means the only objectors will be people who got rich at the expense of others under the current system.
