Maybe I'm naive but I've never watched or listened to anything Taylor Swift has made - couldn't even name a song.
Somehow though, she's all over my (paid, premium) YouTube homepage.
Is that just straight-up paid-for placement?
If so, no thanks. I'm sure she's great or whatever but I didn't ask for that and in fact, have specifically paid *not* to get that sort of thing.
@tdp_org I was discussing this with some people in the pub last night, it was about 50/50 whether we’d seen it. I haven’t but also don’t use YouTube for music, I wonder if this is a model just going “statistically people who like music go wild for this stuff”.

FWIW, it's 100% disappeared now - which makes me suspect it was paid-for (and therefore time-limited).
