Been on my daily stomp early today because it’s going to get stupid hot later. Even at 6.30am there were a surprising amount of people milling around. It’s weird how we take buses and stand in queues and do many other things silently and Britishly, but if you pass someone when out walking it seems almost obligatory to say “morning” to strangers as you pass each other.
@solderandchaos I love that everyone just seems to know the etiquette on that as well. Country lane? Good morning. Council estate cut through? Good morning. Pedestrian crossing over a big road? Hell no, are you mad?
