Can anybody recommend a VPS hosting service that doesn't suck balls? Most of them seem downright hostile in their ordering UI, with usage anti-patterns everywhere, trying to get you confused. I *almost* gave IONOS a try. They take Paypal - good. They don't need to perform a deep rectal exam of my identity (not requiring photo of my gov't-issued ID) to do business - great. Even their pricing was good and level of service acceptable. One issue: they don't think half the EU exists, including my country, so I guess fuck me and the horse I rode in on. They simply don't want my money.
Do *all* the options out there suck ass? My requirements are simple:
- 2 vCPUs, 2-4GB of RAM, ~100'ish GBs of storage
- no bandwidth cap, or at least one where I won't feel constrained (a couple of TBs a month will do)
- $10-15/mo is acceptable
- no gov't ID requirement - that's where I draw the line in terms of personal information
That's it. I'm a simple man with simple needs, but it seems none of these businesses seem interested in my cash...

@jackeric Hetzner. $15-$30ish per month, 2 vCPUs, 8-16GB RAM, 80-160GB storage, ungodly amounts of bandwidth.
