Over the last 9 months or so I’ve discovered I have a really quite intense fear of heights and falling. Regrettably I’ve discovered this at the same time as the fact I really enjoy bouldering as a form of exercise.
I feel like it’s getting better but it’s definitely hindering by progress a bit that anytime I get near the top of the walls, have to make a move I might miss, or (god forbid) encounter a top out boulder I instead give a hearty “fuck this” and climb back down.
