@nxskok it does get below zero but only barely

I used to live somewhere with Canada-style cold (as low as 30C sometimes) and I was a lot happier about the weather

@whitequark @nxskok I will say, having grown up in Canada (living through winters in eastern Ontario and Nova Scotia) and now living in Scotland, I feel like I've suffered winter the most here, not there. The humidity pushes the cold through your body in new and exciting ways, and the houses and infrastructure are just not built for the temperatures, comparatively mild as they might be.

This past January I travelled back to Ottawa for a few weeks, and it was oddly relieving to leave 2°C for -15°C.

@nxskok @MrDOS we had to replace the thermostat with a controller of our own design, otherwise the heating was making me sick, yeah
