After my recent re-read of a few Tom Clancy books, I decided to go back to some other techno thrillers I read when I was younger.
Holy crap, if Clancy's early books may not hold up entirely but have some merit... this one is... gnarly.
Especially given the author is British, the only way I can describe its politics is "this dude is basically the Republican party's full-time fluffer".
I am not going to finish this re-read. Not even close. I guess when I read it I was like 15 so I was a bit less conscious of the politics of what I was reading. Oof.
