@Thayer I recommend loading a bunch of the numbers from phones.emfcamp.org into your address book ahead of the event - saves a lot of time looking them up separately when you need them!

@Thayer protip: take the crappy rechargeable batteries out, replace them with a pair of half decent AAs, leave the charger at home. A set of AAs will last you all weekend.

@Thayer that's one advantage of a DECT phone - trying to use a touchscreen when your hands are wet or covered in sunscreen or mud can get a bit tricky, and seems to happen a lot at emfcamp
@dpk let him guess lol. You should have seen when I first gave them both a cassette tape in a box to open without instructions. Absolute hilarity. They did not manage! And awe when I revealed! Miss those boxes, great design. Then I showed them how we rewound things with a pen :D
