is there some stupid legal reason why no one seems to be making RP2040/RP2350 microcontrollers with wireless?
Like the whole space for "a pico-like that can do bluetooth" seems to be the Pico W and the Pico 2 W, both of which are still using micro-USB for some godforsaken reason, which is the first thing every third-party board fixes.
except then they don't do wireless
should I just give up and write ESP32 code like apparently everyone else?

@foone Pimoroni have a ton of wifi supported 2040/2350s with various combinations of IO, (almost?) all running off USB-C. I had one of their ones designed to drive addressable LEDs arrive today which uses USB-PD to avoid needing a second power supply unless you’ve got hilarious numbers of LEDs.
@foone I think you nailed it - by the time you add a wireless thing to a RP2040, the ESP32 is cheaper and easier.
