Made an Ethernet cable. It, of course, doesn’t work and I’m going to have to recrimp one or both ends and hope it works. Annoyingly I couldn’t find my cable tester so it’s going to be trial and error.
@advancedrubbish every time I do this I think it’ll be quick and easy, and every time I do it I remember I’ve got the world’s worst crimping tool shortly after I start.
@jon the best time to order a new crimping tool is years ago… the second best time is just after you’ve had 4 tries at making a cable.
