Can we please agree on a single name for whatever this social media thing is, preferably one that doesn’t make me cringe whenever I have to use it? It’s not Mastodon because other implementations exist, it’s not ActivityPub because that’s wider, and Fediverse sounds like some sort of furry sex club (which while not an entirely inaccurate description of this place isn’t a great entry point for normal people).
