reading the comments in a presentation where the presenter went on a jokey aside about querying an LLM about a specific element of the project to see if it generated a solution that was comparable to his own code (the answer being "no, it was crap") and there are dozens of people quoting that timestamp and yelling about how they're disappointed that the project is slop. some people have the listening comprehension of a wet carrot.
@gsuberland I read a thread on Bluesky the other day explaining how 56% of US adults have no functional literacy, as in they can’t detect subtext, understand that not everything is literal, or even that not everything published is specifically targeted at them. It made so many things make so much sense.
